With the conclusion of this school year, the CIWF was able to award $16,000 in scholarships, honoring 12 different students on their way to college. Your contributions are so greatly appreciated. The CIWF has just concluded their 2019 big trip raffle, one of two annual scholarship drives championed by its membership. A total of 206 tickets were sold and over $7000 was raised to support scholarships and the mentoring program for the junior and senior ladies of Avalon High School.

The winners were drawn at the City Hall conference room June 27 at 5:50 pm.

The Grand Prize went to local teacher Laura Vandezande – A $3000 credit towards a build your own vacation
